Course Spotlight: Maximizing Your Strengths

Overview

Do you have the opportunity to do what you do best every day? “Most Americans do not know what their strengths are. When you ask them they look at you with a blank stare or they respond in terms of subject knowledge, which is the wrong answer.”  Peter Drucker Employees who know their strengths are 6 times as likely to believe that they can do what they do best every day. Employees who know how to apply their strengths are 15 times as likely to believe that they can do what they do best every day. A $25M study of 10 million people determined 34 themes or behavioral patters. StrengthsFinder is a tool that measures those themes and then focuses on developing those strengths.  It has been shown that human potential is achieved when you combine natural talent, skills, knowledge and experience. This session is focused on growing that human potential and stronger teams through sharing and building on each person’s strengths.  The session will focus on:

•Solving problems

Outcomes

This program will give the participants specific tools to increase engagement and boost team performance by:

•Developing a comprehensive understanding of your unique strengths
•Identifying how different management styles support or undermine strength-building behaviors that lead to employee engagement and performance
•Assessing your workgroup’s engagement levels and developing a plan to achieve crucial business outcomes
•Developing an action plan to enhance your own effectiveness and the performance of your team you manage.
