    Assertiveness in Business

    Assertiveness in business is becoming increasingly recognized as ammunition necessary to succeed. Whether it is the ability to speak up or to not come across aggressively, these skills are imperative when trying to get your message heard. This workshop provides techniques to exercise influence and persuasiveness on projects. Individuals will work one-on-one and in groups to explore specific work situations.

    Communication Skills

    Have you ever asked yourself, “Why can’t we get anything done?” or “Why can’t we get on the same page?” Research supports the conclusion that the most effective people are those who know themselves, recognize the demands of the situation and adopt strategies to meet those needs. This course provides an individual learning process to help you communicate to capitalize on your strengths, value differences and work effectively with others for maximum productivity and teamwork.

    DiSC Communication Tool

    The DiSC assessment is a tool that we utilize in many of our courses. It is a communication tool used to improve teamwork and overall work effectiveness. DiSC provides a comprehensive overview of the way people think, act, and interact. Learn how to identify behavioral differences, adapt to the differences in styles of communication and know what others need for maximum productivity. By understanding the depositions and priorities of others, we are able to facilitate better teamwork and minimize team conflict.

    Interviewing Skills

    To go beyond the basic skills of conducting an interview and offer powerful techniques to the interviewer. Participants will learn to interview with an open mind, develop strong listening skills and conduct effective interviews. The role of the interviewer is one of the most important phases of the hiring process and this workshop will teach the techniques to ensure a successful interview. Explore the quality and outcome of interviews by learning the five techniques to listening effectively. This interactive course will allow participants to gain strategies to improve the overall interviewer experience.

    Language of Listening

    Do you ever find your mind wandering? Have you ever felt that people are not listening to you? Listening is a critical component of effective communications. This workshop addresses the quality of the connections between the senders of the message and the receivers and teaches participants to listen with the clarity, focus and purpose.

    Presentation Skills

    Public speaking is one of the greatest fears for many individuals. Is it yours? Whether you are selling to a client, persuading colleagues, motivating your team, or showing an idea to management, the impact of your presentation makes the difference between success and failure. Deals are lost every day due to ineffective presentations and meetings. During this workshop, participants are videotaped and evaluated.

    Verbal Influence and Success

    The business process is as successful and quality communication & conversation. For the most part, humans are programmed as successful communicators. We tend to try and avoid difficult conversations. Stressors contribute to the human tendency to avoid important and uncomfortable conversations. This course is recognizes when an important conversation needs to take place, dealing with the inevitable stressors, and the ability to re-direct.

  • Leadership X

    Building Credibility

    Your credibility is how other people perceive you. Often our words, actions and business practices inadvertently harm our reputation. This can affect our ability, integrity and worthiness as a team member or part of a leadership group. This workshop is designed to enhance your credibility by increasing your value in your company. You will gain strategies to build and/or regain credibility either in a new or present situation.

    Consensus Planning

    The consensus planning workshop uses a group facilitation method to build a road-map and/or plan of how to achieve the objectives which will enable us achieve the communicated goals.
The Consensus Workshop:

    • Facilitates a group’s thinking about a particular topic into focus decision and action.
    • Works to build the consensus of a group around meeting individual and company initiatives.
    • Is a method of facilitating group conversations and discussions that allow a group to deepen its insights and creativity and to share different perspectives that make up the group.
    • Reveals the level of consensus and buy-in that exists in the group.

    Emotional & Social Intelligence

    Recognizing and refining the relationship between emotions and actions is a foundational element to success. Studies have shown that emotional intelligence is the crucial component when developing strong working relationships. Participants, having completed this workshop, will be more aware of how their emotional intelligence impacts every day relationships, productivity and professionalism. They will also learn about cognitive processes and how to leverage strengths of themselves and their employees to enhance job productivity and effectiveness.

    Leadership Skills

    Leadership may start at the top, but it needs to extend throughout your organization. This workshop provides the skills and techniques to enhance and promote leadership skills at every level by emphasizing the importance of each participant’s role and how they can be effective leaders. Topics addressed include identifying & overcoming barriers to effective communication, building emotional intelligence, managing and building your leadership brand through the details of business acumen.

    Mentoring and Coaching

    This workshop addresses the need to integrate managerial training into the day-to-day workplace. We all learn by first-hand experience. Mentoring and coaching facilitates this process to enrich your organization with knowledge-based, productive and cost-effective personnel. Mentoring encompasses the cultural aspects, job tasks and external factors that feed into each individual’s success factor within the organization.

    Negotiation Skills

    Are you creating win-win or win-lose situations? Being able to negotiate with a win-win approach will produce results and give you an edge. This workshop examines learned confrontation styles and teaches participants how to negotiate on the merits to achieve successful results. Brainstorming and role-playing is used to prepare participants for a wide range of real situations from resolving workplace conflicts to negotiating major contracts.

    Sales and Relationship Building

    Consultative selling is about building relationships and building influence and credibility. This workshop is interactive involving role-play to create consistency for your customers by setting yourself apart, defining your customers’ perceived benefits, knowing how and why people buy and ultimately closing the sale and servicing the customer. Ultimately building strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

  • Coaching X

    Individual Coaching

    Individual Coaching has become increasingly recognized as a way to raise the level of an individual’s performance, and increasing their effectiveness in the group. The method of individual coaching that Image Dynamics uses is based on targeting specific goals. These goals align with the company initiatives and strategies. The program is targeted to individuals with specific needs that would not be met in a group environment. They are typically individuals who are:

    • Technically advanced
    • Key players in an organization In visible positions

    Individuals will benefit from enhancing their knowledge on how to:

    • Develop executive presence
    • Overcome perceptions
    • Modify specific behaviors
    • Cope with the skills needed for a new or changed position
    • Modify leadership style
    • Build influence within the organization
    • Consistently portray a positive professional image
    Behaviors and skills change over time. It is recommended that the duration of training continue over a period of several months with meetings weekly or biweekly. Meetings will become less frequent and can continue for 8 months to a year or longer as deemed necessary.

    Strategy

    One-On-One Individual Coaching programs are custom tailored to the specific needs of the individual. In an initial joint meeting with the coach, the individual and the manager -concerns and needs about performance are discussed. As a result of the joint meeting, goals will be mutually established to promote focus for the meetings. Arrange for an internal coach (the manager or V.P.). This person is usually the person who initiated the coaching Short meetings with the internal coach on a monthly basis for feed-back One-On-One meetings with the individual.

    Outcomes

    The outcomes are dependent on the goals and criteria to be agreed upon.

    Executive Edge Overview

    Dining Protocol
